Overview:
J&Y Law is expanding its legal services with the development of a dedicated Elder Abuse Practice Group, and we are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant to advise us during this critical launch phase. This is a strategic role for a seasoned professional passionate about protecting the rights of elders and vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert insight on establishing a new elder abuse litigation department
Review and enhance workflows, intake protocols, and litigation strategy
Recommend best practices for compliance, documentation, and client communications
Guide team structure, staffing, and process design
Ensure alignment with California elder abuse statutes and relevant legal standards
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in elder abuse, long-term care, or personal injury litigation
Deep understanding of California elder law and regulatory issues
Prior experience launching or consulting on legal practice development is preferred
Strong communication and advisory skills

Compensation: $40.00 per hour
